Announcements

1. We continue our journey of stewardship revival, in our month of emphasis being observed under the theme, ‘A call to Holistic Stewardship.’ Our subtheme for today is ‘Walking in the Light’. Members are encouraged to participate in all the programs lined up for the day, including our online afternoon bible study which will focus on stewardship of money.

2. The Christian Home and Marriage week of prayer begins tomorrow, 18th February and will run through Sabbath 24th February 2024 under the theme, ‘I Will Go, with My Family’. The guest speak for the Sabbath service will be Pastor Isaac Chiyokoma from Rusangu University Church. Powerful messages through word and song are lined up for each evening service which will run from 18:00hrs to 19:30hrs. Members are encouraged to participate and to invite others.

3. The Adventist Men Organization is calling on all men in the Church to join the men’s prayer meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 5am.

4. Camp meeting is here! We are happy to announce that the 2024 Brentwood Drive Camp meeting will take place from Tuesday 30th April to Saturday 4th May 2024 at our Susu Drive Camp Site in Chongwe District. The organizing committee will provide guidance on the registration process. Members are encouraged to plan to participate in this exciting and spiritually enriching convocation where all our 7 strategic objectives are met in one event. Please look out for camp meeting promotional materials that will be shared and presentations to be made by the leaders. You my also reach out to the Camp Meeting Organizing Committee Chairperson, Sr Stella Mulongwe on 0977826949 or the vice Chairperson, Br Darius Mwaba on 0977504501 for detailed inquiries.

5. The Adventist Men’s Organization (AMO) will be hosting a prayer breakfast on Sunday 25th February from 7-10am at Twangale Park. All men are invited to attend. Further details may be obtained from the AMO leader, Br Buchizya Mwale or the assistant, Br Jospeh Jolezya.

6. There will be a PAN African Youth Congress from 23rd – 28th December 2024 at Babcock University, Nigeria. Registration is ongoing and the fees are as follows: Early Birds - $55 (Closure: April 2024), Late Birds - $60 (Closure: September 2024). Accommodation Fees will be advised in due course. Registration fees will cover meals, insurance, stationary, T-shirt, Bag, Admin Expenses, and others. For more details, members are encouraged to reach out to the Young Adults leader, Sr Nkazana Munalula.

7. The Southern Zambia Union Conference is offering a certificate in Evangelism in collaboration with Rusangu University. There will be two sessions in 2024, 14-17 April and 6-25 October at the Literature Ministry Seminary in Lusaka. For registration, please contact the Church Pastor.

8. The Elder on duty from Sunday 18th February to Sabbath 24th is Elder Moses Musantu. Members may reach out with any matters requiring the attention of the Pastorate.

Members are encouraged to inform the Church of an ill or deceased member of their family or friend through the following leaders:

This will then enable the Church to contact a family member/family spokesperson so that the Pastoral Team can be present with the Family. With permission and approval from the family, the church congregation will be notified through the various communication channels.
